it's huh...

i posted this last week on "myspace" and thought perhaps, not everyone checks my space, so i should perhaps post it also on the blog. for more up-to-date pictures, check out the link to your right that says "stacy's space".

so my darling sister, jamie is prego with her second baby. all of you by now have seen the pictures of my nephew brandon and know how ridiculously cool i think he is, so the suspence of this one is killing me! jamie's only 10 weeks so the sex is still to be determined. i said boy the first time and was right...this time, i'm going with girl. it's only fair for her to have a little girl to make her life a living hell-haha!

in this picture the baby has a head, torso, both arms & both legs. in her ultrasound 2 weeks ago, a second arm had yet to sprout. anyway, take a look at the picture and tell me she's not cute.

the newest memeber of the fam is due december 26th, woo-hoo!!

vehicular manslaughter

so i was sitting on the couch enjoying the final minutes of the season finale of csi: miami when i hear marshall barking his little heart out in the backyard. i waited a few minutes to see if what ever it was causing his little voice to go hoarse would subside, but no such luck. i turn on the porch light and find the little dickens standing at the side of the back yard still wailing. i do a little investigating of my own and find what had the poor pooch moaning in agony. to my dismay, laying in the street was poor little peter cottontail. it appears as though mr. cottontail had an unsuccessful voyage while hopping down the bunny trail and met a car head on.

now, we all have seen road kill before, but have you ever heard the sound that escapes an animal when cars still proceed to run over the newly executed creature. in case you haven't, your ears do not just hear the splat noise, but popping also. oh, popping you ask? yes, that popping noise leads to organ flinging and mass blood spatter. if you don't believe me, see the crime scene photo below . . .

if anyone has information leading to the arrest of the person responsible for this incident, please notify the proper authorities immediately. thanks for you support in this matter. the cottontail family appreciates your help!

so it's been a couple months

fear not, i have not left my fans . . . nothing just keeps happening in my awesome life. uh, let's see . . . kristin is in town this weekend (woo-hoo). kristin and i had dinner over at jamie's house tonight with her and brandon (kelly & dave both had to work).

brandon's become quite the little talker these days. he's not even 2 and knows & understands so many words. i just can't believe how big the little monster is!!

on a completely different note, the freak show neighbors next store (aka...the pakistani's) now have a freaking ice cream truck in their driveway. if it's not the mattresses they found dumpster diving or a collection of beer cans that would put a frat house to shame, one way or another, these freaking morons really know how to trash a joint. and besides, when i think ice cream truck, i think of dirty scabbed up men peddling the streets for helpless kids looking for a quick sugar fix. but maybe that's just me, who knows.

happy birthday to kristin & kelly who turn 24 today!! i thought you two would enjoy this photo. taken back in days of yester year in good ole ND, your 6th birthday party at happy joe's. that was when you girls received those god awful yellow/red and yellow/blue cheerleader night shirts and not too mention the spectra dolls; everything always came in pairs!
although kristin moved to atlanta a couple days into march, she's flying home for the weekend to celebrate with kelly and friends friday night and the sisters on saturday.
love you girls much and have a fabulous birthday!!

farewell

the day finally has come and past. after a tear soaked goodbye, kristin left with michael this morning for atlanta. there's no way to sugar coat it, it sucks; we all know she will be happy with michael.

who cares if the rest of us are all miserable-joking, kristin! however, michael has been properly warned by all to take care of our girl-if he knows what's good for him. and i think he does . . . michael's spent many holidays with us and knows the drama we can rupture.

so kristin, enjoy your new city and opportunities. i wish you all the best and hope you find what you're looking for, i know you're in good hands. good luck keeping her in line michael!!

love & miss you much (marshall says woof)

streaker in the making

on tuesday i watched brandon and as luck would have it, he had a doctor's appointment. so the two of us got to take a field trip to dr. ortize's office to meet up with jamie. we got into the exam room and you're suppose to dress the child down to his diaper, which we did. well, sir brandon decided that the room was perhaps just a little too chilly for his liking and insisted upon wearing his coat. so here stands my ever so darling nephew:

dave thinks brandon's well on his way to becoming a skilled streaker!!

still nothing here

seriously, the amount of pressure there is to continually update this damn blog is starting to take it's toll on me. i really just don't think i can handle this kind of stress. as always, i have nothing new to report; honestly, are we at all surprised? i should think not.

so i spent the last week on my back. normally, that wouldn't be such a bad thing, unfortunately though, it wasn't for pleasure's sake. my back pain decided to make itself know again by crippling me for 7 to 8 plus days. i decided to try a different route this time by not going to the normal doctor; instead, i opted for a chiropractor this time. i'm not yet sure if this was the smartest thing or not.

the pain was so obnoxious, i had to rely on jessie, kristin & kelly to not only take me to and from the doctor the first 5 times, but to put on my socks. the 1st visit to the chiropractor had me streaming tears down my cheeks due to his witching maneuvers. the 2nd visit was tearful but no where near as intense.

oh, what's that? the witching maneuvers thing. yes, i say witching because i think the doctor is slightly psycho, into scientology (he's got the pamphlets to back it up) & dianetics. he's all about natural herbal supplements. for example thyrosol, mag glycinate, cataplex b, catalyn & chasteberry are just a handful of the shit this wacko has got me ingesting. whether these supplements will work or not, the adjusting that i have done 3 times a week does seem to be working...slowly, but working. what happened to good old fashion vicodin and percocets??

so if you
will excuse my absence for the past month, i would appreciate it. however, i would like to personally blame jessie & erin for my blog's lack of info due to the whole myspace mumbo-jumbo. myspace, yet another seemingly perfect waste of my time, but if you are at all interested, please feel free to check it out:

stacy's myspace

that is all for now my followers. we shall chat yet again some other day.

update this!!

how's that for an update, jessie?? there isn't shit going on; i have nothing to say--can you stand it!!

however, i got some blah-blah magazine in the mail today and as i was skimming through came across the picture to your left. primarily, it's for kristin. growing up in north dakota (on the farm, as you weirdos put it), mike had a globe bar and for some ungodly known reason, kristin was super obsessed with it. so when i came across it today, i knew instantly she'd get a monstrous kick out of it. quite frankly, why they were ever produced, much less still made today baffles me considerably.
